An animatic acts as a strategic blueprint for your commercial well-structured, yet flexible and dynamic. It provides a powerful planning tool that reduces risks during actual production, improves overall creative quality, and ensures alignment between the creative team and the client.
By visualizing the concept in advance, animatics help ensure your investment in advertising production is more efficient, targeted, and cost-effective.
An Animatic is a moving storyboard a video sequence that combines storyboard illustrations or static images with audio elements such as voiceover, music, or sound effects. It serves as a preview of the full commercial, helping you visualize the entire flow from start to finish before the actual shoot begins.
The main benefit of an animatic is that it allows you to review and refine the pacing, storytelling, and overall structure of the advertisement early on. This makes it easier to identify issues, make adjustments quickly, and avoid costly changes during post-production all while saving time and budget.
To get started, it’s helpful to prepare the following materials.
• Script
The full voiceover/dialogue script along with scene descriptions or narration.
• Concept / Brief
The overall advertising concept, including campaign objectives, target audience, and key messages you want to communicate.
• Storyboard (if available)
Rough sketches or still images of each scene, to help visualize the sequence.
• Target Length
The desired duration of the animatic (e.g., 15 seconds, 30 seconds).
The production timeline for an animatic depends on several factors, including the complexity of the advertisement, the number of scenes, the level of detail required, and the availability of input materials from the client.
Typically, the process takes around 8–10 business days. However, we also offer express service options, which can shorten the timeline to 5–7 business days, while still maintaining high production quality.
Our workflow may also include the use of AI-assisted tools, which are already integrated into the timeframe to ensure both speed and precision.
We use AI as a supportive tool across several stages of the animatic production process to increase both efficiency and speed.
This includes tasks such as generating initial visuals and scene elements, assisting with animation and lip-syncing, and accelerating repetitive processes.
By integrating AI, we’re able to deliver high-quality work faster while also expanding our ability to explore new and creative ideas.
The most suitable animatic style depends on your specific needs whether it’s timeline, budget, or creative goals.
We take these factors into consideration through our consultation process, allowing us to recommend the most effective and appropriate approach for your project.
Revisions are an essential part of the animatic production process. We understand that your needs may change or evolve during the project.
Therefore, we include a set number of revision rounds in our standard package to ensure the final work aligns as closely as possible with your expectations.
Our team is committed to working closely with you to refine and enhance the animatic at every stage to achieve the highest quality.
However, revisions beyond the scope defined in the package, or significant changes, may affect the production timeline and incur additional costs.
All such details will be clearly outlined in the contract and communicated to you in advance.
Absolutely! While having a script or an initial storyboard can speed up the process, if you only have a concept or a brief, our team can help develop and translate your ideas into illustrated storyboards. This way, you can clearly visualize the overall flow of your story.
Don’t worry if you don’t have all the details yet we’re ready to assist, fill in the gaps, and guide you through every step to ensure your story starts off smoothly.
The cost of producing an animatic depends on several factors, including the length of the advertisement, the level of visual detail (e.g., sketches vs. full-color images), the number of characters, the complexity of the animation, and any special requirements such as professional sound design.
We offer flexible packages designed to suit a variety of budgets and project needs.
